...And All That Jazz

So, reading NYLON a while ago, I came across an article on jazz shoes. At once, I was interested because I, too, am getting slightly bored of seeing everyone in the WORLD wearing ballet flats. Apparently, Hedi Slimane has started making them and so now, a whole new interest in jazz shoes has started.
And I say Yay! Because I'm very much feeling this trend. They are the most comfortable things to wear, plus I love how they look on your feet. I've been wearing mine with thick wooly grey tights or my black straight leg jeans. They also most definitely fit in with the whole androgynous trend that's around at the moment.
So, what is your opinion on this? Do you think I'm crazy for liking them, or are you, too, feeling like dancing down the street?

my extremely unfashionable sister wore some of those yesterday, and i complimented her on them.. they certainly are OF the moment. but i'd pair them with something more feminine to balance it out.
oh god, you live in england? i want to go there more than anywhere else. how far from london are you?
i like this shoes, and olso the beyond ones.
really love your blog, especially like the shoes post, the ellas are so nice.
I was reading your thing about finding a motel in the london topshop and RIP DNA. Well, I live in Bristol and we have a DNA here, but its recently changed to a MOTEL, so I'm not sure whats going on...maybe they're having "money issues"
anyway...

I like the jazz shoes on guys, I'm not sure how I feel about them on femmes. Your's are lovely and will certainly be conversation pieces!
i love this post. but unfortunately i can't wear those shoes since they remind me of the dress shoes we had to wear in lower school. very cool blog though.

Egads! those look likegranny shoes. fortunataly, you can buy cuter ones.
Ooo, I like them. I've seen them on ebay & been tempted.
I see musch potential in the fashionability of jazz shoes!
Ah, j'adore. Ballet flats are nice, but yeah, they're getting too mundane.
I see much potential in jazz shoes. Now, where to get?
Umm.. ew? Sorry, should jazz shoes be somewhat pointy? Anyway, they make your legs seem a bit stubby. If you ever find shoes (that aren't four inch heels) that make legs seem longer and leaner, please do post. I have the same problem as well.
